SETI New Zealand was opened in August 2004 by Dave Owen as a base for our New Zealand SETI@home team External Link.

It has been my intention to provide information and resources about the search for extra terrestrial intelligence (SETI). I haven't quite got there yet but I'm hoping to soon.

Notice (July 2007): Thanks to those of you who have signed up. I'm sorry I haven't contacted you personally but feel free to contact me for a chat.

BTW, our stats are looking pretty good :)

SETI@home is a distributed computing project which analyses radio waves from space and searches for signs of alien life. Anyone can join in and help by installing a simple piece of software. You might even get credit for being the first to discover alien life!
